SHADES OF GREY RADIO was created in June of 2006 with the idea of playing a genre specific type of music. That of which being the Gothic, Darkwave, and Neoclassical style.
The station broadcasts 24/7/365 days a year with NO commercial interruptions. I
wanted it that way because I personally hated listening to a radio station that would
break every fifteen minutes for commercials. Shades of Grey Radio, the web site, and
all of it's related interests are completely funded by myself. I do this because I am able
to be in full control of the stations content, as well as the way it operates.

Shades of Grey broadcasts LIVE, meaning that what you hear is as much a surprise
to me as it is to you. There are NO prerecorded playlists. With over 200 gigabytes
(10,000 songs) of music, all the tracks are randomly selected with a non-repeat function to insure that you don't hear the same song over and over through out the day.

I enjoy listening to music and not some Disc Jockey talking over the songs, for this reason, you will not hear me or anyone else during the broadcast. Non-stop music is what you expect and that is what you will get.
CAN YOU HEAR ME?
Well, I really hope so, but my current broadcast is at 128kbps Stereo to insure the best possible sound for your ears, and sometimes people with dial-up connections may have trouble maintaining a continuous stream. This being said, DSL and Cable connections should have no trouble at all streaming.
I hope you enjoy listening to SHADES OF GREY RADIO, and I will continue to add more and more music as it becomes available to me. I usually add music on a weekly basis. So, if you don't hear you're favorite new band today, there's always tomorrow.
